| Misc. Facts | Christina was conceived and born off screen to Don and Mary Hughes. Don came back to town alone for Chris and Nancy's 50th wedding anniversary in 1986 and told the family that Mary's doctor wouldn't let her travel, she was pregnant! He was shocked to find out that Bob's wife Kim was pregnant too. It's safe to assume that Christina was actually born in May of 1986. When Don told the family about Mary being pregnant it was April of 1986 and he said Mary was 8 months pregnant. The next time we heard about Don, Mary, and Christina was a few months later when Chris Hughes died. They all returned for the funeral and everyone got to meet Christina Nancy Hughes. She had been named after her grandparents before Chris' death, but she never met him. Christina and her cousin Christopher Hughes are both named after their late grandfather. |
